Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating. We would love to have you come check us out. You will find the people and atmosphere to be warm and inviting. We call our contemporary service “Shout!” The music is first rate and the teaching is Biblical.
Where is the Shout service located?
It is located in the Shepherd Center. The entrance to the Shepherd Center is on the corner of J.R. Miller and 4th Street.
What time is the contemporary service?
The Shout contemporary service begins at 10:45 and typically lasts about an hour.
What is the music like?
The music is contemporary, featuring a high-quality full band. Expect worship to be fun, upbeat and lively.
What should I wear?
Come as you are, and wear what you want. Most people dress casually. Jeans or shorts are perfectly acceptable, as are khakis and casual dresses. Wear whatever you feel most comfortable in.
Are my children welcome in the service?
Absolutely! Children are always welcome in our service. Some parents choose to take their children to the nursery prior to the service, and others keep their children in the service during the music. Children age 3 to 3rd Grade will be accompanied to Wee Worship or Children’s Church prior to the sermon if they wish. Your children are welcome to stay with you during the entire service if you prefer.
